We at Reflection Ridge Dental are committed to staying abreast of the latest technological advancements in dentistry and utilizing them to provide the best care possible for you and your family.
We utilize digital radiographs to obtain the most accurate x-rays possible with the least amount of radiation exposure necessary using ELDDR X-rays. We also have a cone beam CT which we use when a 3D image of your jaw structure is needed. This is used mainly for the diagnosis of pathologies and for the placement of dental implants. 3D imaging is used to design a surgical guide that is used for the placement of your dental implants to achieve the most accurate result possible.
In addition, we have multiple types of lasers at our office. Each type is utilized for different procedures. They can be used to fill cavities, treat periodontal disease, or manipulate tooth and bone tissue in order to provide you with the best result and the fastest and most comfortable healing time.
At Reflection Ridge Dental, we take your safety seriously! We use Extremely Low Dose Digital Radiography (ELDDR) for our x-rays. That represents about one-tenth of the dosage of a standard x-ray. Below, is a chart to illustrate how ELDDR compares to other procedures. Our digital x-rays are much safer!
We also utilize intraoral scanners to design many of our crowns in the office. This allows us to provide you with your final crown in one visit in most instances. It also gets rid of the need to take impressions of your teeth in order to make your crown. In some instances, your crown may be sent to a lab to have it fabricated. If that is the case, it may take two visits to get your final crown. Our doctors are committed to providing you with the best fitting and longest-lasting restoration for your individual needs.
